The Cyber Plague

The Cyber Plague
World War 3
PREFACE

Throughout history, the United States of America has been in many wars. In every war the U. S. has come out on top, except for one. The one war the U. S. lost was the war against itself. The Civil War was the only war the U. S. lost. In World War III the U. S. faced terrible enemies, but the real enemy all along was inside it’s own borders.

Hello,
My name is Tanner Wilder. If you are hearing this broadcast you are in terrible danger. I am sending this broadcast from the prisoner of war camp in North Korea. I don't want you to listen to all the rumors going around about me, I am not dead and I did not cause the American government to fall. I want you to hear the story of me. It all started on December 12th, 2029 with the President's life changing address.
I was a successful man with a young family.I lived in Boise, Idaho. I had a job at NASA, and then the President changed my life. I remember the day where I plopped on the couch and turned on the TV.
"My fellow Americans. I am sorry to say, but in fact the U. S. rocket and space exploration program NASA has gone bankrupt. We are not sure how, but the Cyber Fox has struck again. The Cyber Fox is what we are currently calling the most dangerous hacker in the world. He or she has stolen billions of dollars. He has hacked into hundreds of programs. Every time the Cyber Fox strikes he always takes all money. The U. S. government has also suffered from the Cyber Fox and we cannot afford to give NASA the money it has lost. I'm sorry to say this, but NASA is over, no more space travel, no more space exploration. I also have some more bad news. Last night North Korea invaded Japan. The war against North Korea is not going well. In the short amount of time we have been fighting 100,000 American soldiers have been killed. We have no choice but to draft every man who is healthy enough to fight. Police will come around and get you enrolled in the army. It is my hope that this country will be able to stand during this hard time. Thank you.” The President concluded.

That was it. I had just lost my job. The dream job I’ve been working for, for the last ten years was over. And on top of that I had to be drafted into the most dangerous war the world had ever seen. I couldn’t process on just what happened. I was really disappointed about that and then there was a knock on the door. I walked to the door and opened it up to find a policeman standing on the patio.
“Mr. Wilder. According to our records you are the only eligible man in this house to fight in the war. Is that correct?” The policeman asked.
“That is correct.” I replied.
“Alright then. You are to be at the Idaho Center at 8:00 tomorrow morning, to register for whatever branch of military you want to join. If you do not show up, we will come to your house, and lock you up, as proof that you are helping are rival countries. Understood?”

The next day I drove out to the Idaho Center. Several policeman shepherded me over to a desk, and told me to fill out some papers. I had to write my name, contact information, and what branch I would like to serve in. I chose the Navy. I chose the Navy because before I moved to Boise I lived in San Diego. My father was a big fisher, and every weekend we would spend out on the water. I was comfortable with boats. All this registration was in emptied out restaurants in the Idaho Center, I looked down into the bleachers and saw a couple of men sitting in them. I looked closer and I recognized one of the men. It was President Harris. I have no idea why the President of the United States came to this registration. I noticed that some of the Secret Service agents were coming over and we're grabbing some of the people registering. They were taking the people down to the ground floor. On the floor there were lots of cameras set up. One at a time a person would come into the arena and would do tests. The tests were like how good could you shoot a gun, how fast were you, how strong were you. Eventually one of the Secret Service agents came over and grabbed me. He said,
“Come down and apply for the Secret Service.” He said.
“Secret Service?” I asked.
“Well, you can either join the Secret Service or be enrolled in the army.” The Secret Service agent said. This was a big deal, I should really emphasize on this. Was this guy saying that I could just become a Secret Service Agent instead of enrolling in the biggest war in all of history?
“I’m in.” I told him. The Secret Service Agent took me down to the floor of the arena. He said,
“Okay, if you want to prove that you are eligible enough to be an agent for the Secret Service, you will have to pass these tests. Okay, there are three sections to this test. The three tests are your strength, agility, and IQ. Alright let’s begin.” He took me to the strength test. The only thing at the strength test was a pullup bar. Great.
“Alright the test is simple. Do as many pullups as you can, and we will count for you. Begin!” The Secret Service Agent said. I ran over to the pullup bar and jumped and grabbed the bar. I struggled and did a pull up. I did another one, pretty soon I was in a groove. And then I was moving. After a couple minutes my arms just burned out. The Secret Service Agent was holding a clipboard. He said,
“Well done, 15 pull ups in 4 minutes. That’s pretty good. Alright, now let’s do agility.” Me and him walked over to the agility test. There were a couple of cones in a line. The Secret Service Agent said,
“You have to weave in between the cones as fast as you can. I’ll time you. Go!” I started running in between the cones as fast as I could. I had to run across the entire arena, and then back. And to sprint that that far was kind of tiring. But I got back.
“31 seconds. Impressive, that’s our fastest time of the day. Alright, moving right along, our final test of the day is the IQ test. You ready.” He asked. I nodded my head yes.
“Okay, so you are going to go inside of this room. The room is completely covered in screens. You will have a fake gun, and you will be able to shoot whatever is inside of the screens. It’s a simulator.” The Agent said. I walked into the room, and the Secret Service agent shut the door behind me. The TV screens turned on. And then I was standing in the middle of a war field. People who had their faces covered and big guns started charging toward me. I looked down to the ground and saw my gun. It had a wire attached to the TV. I picked up my gun and started firing at the enemy. I fired and ran to a shack that was in the middle of the field. I jumped in the shack, and fired out the window. Pretty soon, I jumped out of the window and ran down to a big house. I ran inside of the house and inside the house was a lot of enemies. I fired my gun, and took them all out. After that the TV screens turned off. The door to the room opened, and a person was standing in the doorway. But, it wasn’t the Secret service Agent. It was President Harris. I was speechless. The most powerful man in the world was standing right in front of me. I had no idea why he was coming to see me. President Harris said,
“Mr. Wilder. I saw your record of the tests you did this morning and I want to be the first person to welcome you into the Secret Service.” That just blew my mind. I WAS IN THE SECRET SERVICE! I wanted to jump up and give the president a hug, but then I thought differently.
“Yes, sir. Mr. President.” I said. Unfortunately, I had to act cool in front of the president.
“Ok. Now that we got that out of the way, Peter here will show you around. Peter is my very own personal bodyguard, maybe someday you will make it to his rank. Peter, show Tanner around.” The President said.
“Yes, sir.” Peter said in a salute. The President walked off to the pretzel restaurant. Peter, who happens to be the same guy who gave me the tests said,
“Alright, here is how you be a assistant bodyguard to the president. You will always follow me, because you will be my assistant. Alright, for starters you never leave the president’s side. If anything happens, pull out your gun, but don’t use it unless absolutely necessary. Mainly you will just follow orders. Okay so you paid … “ He did not finish that sentence. In the middle of Peter’s talking, a very high pitched sound came from above the roof. It was getting louder. I worked with NASA and I knew what an object coming down sounded like. Peter knew what that sound was to, and he started freaking out. Peter shouted to the other Secret Service Agents,
“Bomb! We are under attack! We need to get the President out of …” He never finished that order. The bomb fell through the roof of the Idaho Center and landed in the bleachers. You cannot experience the bomb, by just hearing about it. The explosion was massive. The force of the explosion knocked me off my feet. The sound of the explosion was like 100+ stereo systems blaring. AKA it was really loud. The bomb was also immensely hot. Fire swept over the entire arena. Luckily, I was behind a flipped over table, which acted as a great shield for me. I looked up at the crumbling room and saw chunks of the roof falling down. I heard a groan behind me, so I turned and saw the President in pain. A chunk of the roof had fallen out, and landed on President Harris’s leg.I ran over to him and pulled the chunk of the roof of his leg. I helped him, up and I half carried him out of the arena. The smoke was so thick we couldn’t see 3 ft. in front of me. In between wheezes the President said,
“There… is a helicopter… outside the building… waiting for … me… I mean us.” I felt like chopped liver but I decided to let it go. I found the door and literally had to pry it open. I pried it open, and I finally got some fresh air. Outside the Idaho Center was a helicopter waiting for us. I half carried the President to the helicopter. Two other Secret Service Agents took the President and laid him down on a hospital bed, in the helicopter. The helicopter took flight. It started flying East. I looked back at the Idaho Center burning to the ground. One hour. One hour and I already caused a building to burn. I was thinking this when one of the pilots interrupted me.
“You saved his life.” One of the pilots said to me. Nodding at the President.
“Too bad, you didn’t save my brothers’.” He finished. I knew who he meant. Peter. I forgot all about Peter. The only Secret Service Agent I knew, was killed.
“Peter, was your brother?” I asked the pilot.
“Yeah, he was my twin.” The pilot responded.
“I’m so sorry.” I said.
“Yeah, well he knew how dangerous it was being part of the Secret Service.” The pilot responded sadly. We flew in silence, before the pilot said.
“My name is Abraham Porter.” Abraham said. Abraham. I wouldn’t let Abraham have the same fate as his brother.
“Where are we flying to?” I asked Abraham.
“We are flying to 44° 8′ 14.6″ N, 113° 46′ 51.97″ W.” Abraham said.
“Huh. Thanks for clarifying.” I said sarcastically.
“It’s also known as Mt. Borah.” Abraham explained. Mt. Borah. It was the tallest mountain in Idaho. That’s all I knew about it. Nothing special about it.
“Yeah, and why are we going there?” I asked.
“Home of one the biggest military training bases in the country. But, it’s top secret. Nobody knows about it. Only the elite go there. Let me tell you this. You will get very good at hiking that mountain.” He had to leave off on that. At that time the breathtaking peak of Mt. Borah came into view. Below the mountain was a giant grassy field. The helicopter landed on the grassy field. I hopped out and was greeted by a man I have heard of. George Hall. The General of the United States was standing in front of me. I heard that Hall was super nice, I was ready to see if that was true.
“Greetings, sir. Welcome to the Mt. Borah Boot camp. I heard that you are the newbie in the Secret Service. The one that left another Agent behind in a burning building. That’s you right?” Hall asked. Talk about guilt tripping.
“Yeah… That’s me.” I said disappointed. I already had a bad rep, and it was my first day! Wow.
“Well, that’s okay. My first day as a nuclear scientist I sent that nuclear plant sky high. Turns out the red button wasn’t a light switch. The President interrupted.
“Mr. Hall. I want you to take Mr. Wilder on your mission of containing the rebels. Understood?” The President ordered. Hall seemed happy with that.
“Sure, we’ll take him. I’m sure he’ll do fine.”
“Containing the rebels? What does that mean?” I asked. The President frowned.
“Right now our country is going up against North Korea in the war. Unfortunately, we have some people in our country who have a North Korean background, and they feel some nationality to their home country So they are not happy with us. Mr. Hall will be leading a team of Navy Seals to take out, I mean contain the rebels.” The President said.
“Huh”I said. The President looked at me kind of funny. Then I realized that sounded dumb so I corrected myself.
“I mean interesting.” Man, that was embarrassing.
Okay, um we’re leaving tomorrow morning at 6:00. Be there. Well, in the meantime. I think you and the mountain,” He nodded towards Mt. Borah.
“need to get familiar with each other.” Hall said. Great. Sure, climbing the tallest mountain in Idaho, no problemo. But my first thought was my family.
“Can I call my family?” I asked. I realized that I hadn’t seen my family since before the explosion. They were probably worried about me. Hall said,
“You can call home right now. Just hurry.” He finished. Hall walked off. I grabbed my pulled out my phone and called my family. My wife answered,
“Hello, Tanner is that you?” My wife asked kind of desperate.
“Oh, I’m fine?” I said trying to calm her down.
“Where are you? I thought you were dead!” She was asking desperately.
“Why did you think I was dead?” I asked.
“Well, the bomb was all over the news, and apparently you joined the SECRET SERVICE! What happened.” She asked. I told her what happened. Slowly she began to get her mind around the whole thing.
“So you are saying that you are currently in some top secret military base camp at Mt. Borah, when will I see you again?” She asked. At that moment General Hall took the phone out of my hand and said to my wife,
“A helicopter is coming to pick you up. You will see your husband by the end of the day.” He handed the phone back to me.
“Was that General Hall?” My wife asked kind of shocked.
“Yeah, that was.” I responded. She said,
“Wow you go to get drafted. And you become part of the Secret Service. Wow, you’ve had a big day. Well, call me back if anything else happens. I’ll see you soon.” General Hall said to me.
“Mr. Wilder. Are you ready to contain the rebels?” General Hall asked.
“Ugg. I don’t know. Why not.” I said.
“Well, that’s good. You didn’t have a choice.” Hall responded.
“Let’s go.” Me, George Hall, Abraham the pilot, and a dozen Navy Seals, all boarded a military helicopter. The engine started to life. And the propellers started spinning. In less than a minute, we were in the air. We flew high, and flew South East. In an hour we were flying over the city Pocatello. We flew over the University of Idaho. General Hall pointed the Holt Arena out.
“That’s where the rebels are.” General Hall said. He leaned over to Abraham who was flying, and said.
“Land in the park.” Abraham landed the helicopter in Bonneville Park. We got out of the helicopter and walked over to Holt Arena. We walked to the Holt Arena. Around the arena there was a catwalk that went to the top of the building. I said.
“Something tells me, we are going up that.”
“You bet. Hope your not scared of heights. Oh, and uh we don’t have time for harnesses.” General Hall said. I thought he was joking, but sure enough he immediately started climbing up the catwalk. I was the last one in our team to go up, and all I can say is WOAH. I clung to the right side of the catwalk and didn’t look down. After a couple of minutes, we were at the top of the arena. The view was great. We opened up the window at the top of the arena, and the Navy Seals pulled out their sniping rifles. They got into formation. Each Seal was sniping a different guy. General Hall whispered.
“3… 2… 1.. Fire.” At the exact same time. 12 rebels fell to the ground dead. The rebels immediately got into formation, and began firing machine guns at the window. 2 seals got shot and fell off the arena. General Hall commanded that we run back to the helicopter. But then Russian (not Korean) men ran up the catwalk with machine guns. They began firing the guns, and 5 Navy Seals fell of the catwalk. The team ran back to the top of the Holt Arena. We ran back to the top of the arena, by now there were only 8 of us. Me, General Hall, Abraham, and 5 Navy Seals. The rebels completely surrounded us. We had to surrender. The rebels yelled at us in Russian for a while, before taking us down inside of the Holt Arena. The rebels tied up me, General Hall, and Abraham, but not the Navy Seals. They dragged the Navy Seals outside, and then I heard gunfire. The rebels came back in without the Navy Seals. I knew that we had lost the Navy Seals. This whole scenario was weird. The countries who were fighting in World War 3 was America, Spain, England, against North Korea. Russia was neutral. They weren’t fighting for each other side of the war. So why Russian rebels captured us, we had no idea. We waited in the corner for a long time. We waited till night time when finally the leader of the rebels came over. He was very tall, like 7 ft. and he was bald. He surprised me by speaking in perfect English,
“You guys are lucky, the military is swooping all over this place. Unfortunately, the US military doesn’t ransom. So… we’ll just kill you instead.” He said that while reaching for his gun. He pulled out his gun and aimed it at me, when all of the sudden he fell to the ground. Navy Seals swarmed the room, ordering the rebels to surrender. The rebels put up a good fight, and began fighting back. But, this was normal people going up against Navy Seals. Within a minute, all the rebels were contained. The President walked in and said to us,
“I am very sorry. We underestimated them. We didn’t know that there was this many rebels. This is also bad news, because that means there is a greater chance of a revolution. And… since these rebels are Russians, we hope that Russia is not making alliances with North Korea.” The President motioned for us to come with him. Me and Abraham started walking towards the door, on the way out, the leader of the rebels, the bald one, jumped up from off the ground and fired his gun at Abraham. Abraham screamed out with pain, and blood was coming out of Abraham’s arm. Two Navy Seals sprinted over, and did a flying tackle, taking him out. They put him in handcuffs and took him out to the helicopter waiting for us. President Harris turned to me and said,
“Tanner. There’s someone I want you to meet.” He motioned his hand over to a man standing next to the helicopter. The man looked familiar, but I couldn’t a name to him.
“Tanner, this is my vice president Toby Gutzman.” The President said. That’s how I knew him.
“Well, okee dokey.” I said. I immediately hit myself in the head. I had just said okee dokey, in front of the President. For the second time, he looked at me, kind of funny. I had to do something that would be cool.
“I mean… good morning sir! I repeat, GOOD MORNING!” I shouted at the top of my lungs. This time the President and the Vice president looked at me funny. Then, there was this awkward silence. The vice president broke the silence by saying,
“Um. First of all, there’s no need to shout. I’m right here. And second, it’s 9 o'clock at night. It’s not even the morning.” I have never felt so foolish before. The President said,
“Well, there’s no more reason of staying here, let’s get a move on.” The three of us walked and got into the helicopter. Abraham climbed in behind me, his arm in a sling. He wouldn’t be flying us home. The last person in the helicopter was the Russian leader, I guess the military wanted to interview him. We flew back to Mt. Borah. When we landed, two guards took the Russian leader to the camp penitentiary, and Abraham went to the medic. I got out, and ran over to the mess hall, where everyone else was. The President was right behind me. I was making sure that he was safe. We ate a lovely dinner, of some expired pork and beans, not my favorite. I went out back to go to the bathroom, and on my way back, the vice president stopped me. He walked up to me and said,
“Hey Tanner. We talked earlier. Tonight, I am holding a meeting for the Secret Service. I want you to be there. Understood. If you are not there I can have you under arrest by disobeying a direct order. Be there.” OK. Have to go to a meeting with some creepy guy. Sounds fun. I walked inside and found the President, I walked up to him, and started following him around. I don’t think I mentioned this earlier, but it is super cool being in the Secret Service. I mean you get to wear awesome suits, which are free. BONUS. And the best part about the Secret Service is wearing awesome shades. They make me feel so official. And I get to hang out with the President, so… that’s awesome. I asked the President,
“Are you going to that meeting tonight?” He turned and looked at me kind of confused.
“What meeting?” He asked. I responded.
“The meeting Toby Gutzman is holding.”
“He’s holding a meeting tonight? I didn’t know that. Well, I want you to stay with me tonight. Don’t go to that meeting.” The President finished. That was weird. That night, all the Secret Service agents went to that meeting that Toby Gutzman was holding. Abraham came over and joined me. After a couple minutes all the Secret Service agents came out of the mess hall. All of the sudden an alarm started blaring over the speaker system. Abraham immediately pulled out his gun, I pulled out mine. A giant semi truck busted through the fences of the fence. The semi truck drove straight into the mess hall, and then there was a huge explosion. Clearly, that truck was full of explosives. There was a big hole in the fence, and a dozen jeeps drove through the hole. There were machine gun nests on the back of the truck, and the gunners on the back of the trucks began firing at anything that moved. The drivers of the jeeps began throwing grenades out of the window, they threw grenades at anything. There were flames everywhere. The smoke was so thick, that I couldn’t see 15 ft. in front of me. I heard the President coughing next to me, and I grabbed his arm. I would not lose him. One of the jeeps pulled up right next to us. This was the whole reason they had come, they wanted to kill the President. The gunner aimed the gun at the President, but before he could fire, he fell out of the truck. The driver looked confused, and then he got shot. General Hall came running out like a madman, and opened the truck door. He pulled the driver out, and hopped in. He yelled to us,
“Get in the truck!” We didn’t need to be told twice. We hopped in the back of the truck. General Hall drove like a maniac, and leveled the pedal. We drove into the woods around Mt. Borah, and then we parked the car. We were safe. Well, at least that’s what we thought. A helicopter flew over our heads and turned around and faced us. It opened fire on us. Two giant machine guns fired bullets as big as my finger. We ducked behind the truck. The bullets went through the truck as easy, as a needle going through fabric. We didn’t move. After, a minute, the helicopter flew away. I jumped up and looked at the helicopter, and I gasped. One of the guys in the helicopter was the rebel leader we arrested earlier. I knew that was not a good sign, that Russian dude was nuts. We hopped back in the truck, and drove back to the base camp, or at least what used to be the base camp. The entire base camp had burned down to the ground. Many soldiers were dead. Trees were on fire. Soldiers were running around, trying to help the injured, and put out the fires. The base camp was ruined. The President looked very depressed and I could tell this really bothered him.
“I … I have no idea, how the rebels even knew about this place. This place was top secret. Not even Congress knew about this place.” The President said very sad. This whole things was a bummer, but I couldn’t stop thinking about how Congress didn’t even know about this place. I mean, wow. The President turned to me and said,
“We have to get back to Washington. Abraham prepare the helicopter.” Abraham went to start the helicopter. He came back and said the helicopter and been blown into bits. Great. That meant we were stuck in the middle of the woods with no way to get out of there! This day stunk! Today I had been killed almost 3 times. Getting bombed in the Idaho Center. Being captured by rebels. And now almost getting slaughtered. But, this was also the best day. I mean today I joined the Secret Service. I had been really nervous ever since I lost my job at NASA. I had joined the Secret Service. I HAD JOINED THE SECRET SERVICE!I mean I got to do some incredible things. I got to meet the President. Not just that, I got to be the President’s bodyguard. I had SURVIVED a bombing at the at the Idaho Center. I had been captured by rebels, but I SURVIVED. We had just got attacked by rebels, but I SURVIVED! I had been really lucky so far. A government car pulled up, and me, Abraham, and the President jumped in. The car took us to a hotel, and we spent the night there. That had been a crazy day. The next day we woke up at 5:00 in the morning. I know what you’re thinking GROSS! That’s what I was thinking. We drove to the airport, and flew back to D. C.. That was a long day. Lucky for me, I had sudoku, and that plane ride went by fast! We arrived at Washington D. C. at 10. We got out and went to the Pentagon. That place was swarming with people. It may have been the funniest thing I had ever seen. I mean people were running around all over the place. People were yelling, no one was making sense. Some guy was pretty frantic because his printer wouldn’t work. I saw two guys lift a pot above a cubicle. Then I saw them dump the boiling water into the cubicle. And out of all the chaos, the scream that came from that cubicle was the loudest thing in the room. The two guys who dumped the water ran off. An old man, with a moustache as big as his face, and a beard that went down to his waist, came out of the cubicle. His head was all wet, and he was running around looking for the two troublemakers.
“Mr. Collins.” The President addressed. The old man looked around, and when he saw the President he ran to him and he did a weird kind of bow thing. He hopped on one leg, and then squatted on that leg, and started waving his arms, like he was leading the orchestra. The man starting singing some weird song while doing his … squat,
Oh, hello Mr. President,
I want to live on your residence,
I want the keys to the White House,
So I can wear my blouse!” Then he started breaking into another song.
The President hears my song,
Doo dah, doo dah,
The President hears my song,
All the boring long day
He hears my song all day,
He will raise my pay,
The President hears my song,
All the doo dah day” Then he started bowing, and asking for donations from the President. I leaned over to Abraham and whispered,
“I don’t care what the case is. I bet he’s behind it.” Abraham laughed. Mr. Collins was about to break out in another song, but the President cut him off.
“Mr. Collins.” The President snapped.
“We are here on official business. I need to know how is our side of the war looking?” The President asked. Mr. Collins thought about it for a minute, and then said.
“Bad.” He then turned and walked into his cubicle. The President walked in after him. Mr. Collins’ office may have the strangest office I had ever seen. He had a bean bag for a chair. His computer was dressed as a cat. And he had cages lined up around his cubicle, all filled with birds. That was a racket. Mr. Collins went and sat on his bean bag, he asked us,
“So. What brings you to Trapezoid?” The President said to him,
“Daniel. For the hundredth time, this is a Pentagon, not a trapezoid. Do you understand. And, the reason I’m here is because I need to know how our budget is doing.” Mr. Collins thought about it for a minute. He then said,
“Bad. We got hacked.” We were all speechless. Mr. Collins broke the silence by saying.
“Does that mean I won't get my bonus?” If looks could kill, Mr. Collins would be dead. I have never seen someone so angry before the President. I thought that the President might kill Mr. Collins. Mr. Collins said,
“Too soon?” If I were Mr. Collins I would have ran out of the room, based on the anger of the president. But Mr. Collins said,
“Can I invite you to dinner?” The President took a breather, and accepted the deal.
“Um. I have some news. Whoever the hacker was, I found out their location. The computer that they used to hack into the bank account was in the Pentagon. We have a mole.” Mr. Collins said. The President looked kind of shocked. He pulled out his phone and called the vice president. The President then told us.
“Toby is on his way. He will take care of the hacker. Nothing gets past Toby.
4 hours later
That night around 6:00 Toby arrived at the Pentagon. I noticed that he had about a dozen Secret Service Agents trailing him, and he had 5 agents in front of him. That was weird there was only 2 Secret Service agents guarding the PRESIDENT! You think it would be the other way around. I leaned over to Abraham and asked,
“Why does the vice president have so many guards?” Abraham said back to me,
“Toby, takes his security very seriously. Those guards are so tough, the toughest Secret Service agents go to the vice president. Those guards only listen to him, not even the President. Whatever, and I mean absolutely anything he says, they do. By now they were standing right in front of us. Toby said,
“Get everyone down here. Now.” He said through clenched teeth. 5 minutes later, every single person in the Pentagon was standing in front of us. The vice president was basically steaming and he yelled at everyone in the Pentagon,
“Whoever hacked into the system, I want you to stand up, and walk up here now.” No one stood up. Toby looked around and when nobody moved he said,
“Fine then. If nobody’s going to step forward. Then nobody is going to step backwards.” Everyone looked confused, no one knew what he meant. The vice president said,
“What I mean, is no one is leaving until someone steps forward. My secret service agents are already guarding the doors. Anyone who tries to escape will be shot on the spot. So, if I were you, I would not to escape. If no one steps up now, then we will check the cameras tonight. If, we catch someone doing the hacking, they will be executed. However, if you come forward now. You will not be executed,” then he said in a whisper
“as the same way.” Nobody ever did step forward. The President said,
“Well, we’re leaving.” Me and Abraham got followed the President, then the President stopped, and said.
“Mr. Collins. I want you to come with us.” The vice president looked like he was going to say something, but before he could say anything the President said,
“He’s coming with me. And even you, have to obey my command.” The President said with kind of a grudge. I could tell that they have fought about this in the past. The President was still angry and he said to Toby,
“I will take these 4 guys. None of them would have done it. I want you to check the cameras, and I want you to figure out who did the hacking. Well, for everyone else, you are free to go home.” A cheer went up inside the Pentagon. The vice president looked like he could kill someone, he was so angry. But, the President had the final decision. Me, Abraham, President Harris, and that creepy Mr. Collins all walked out of the Pentagon. Abraham ran forward and pulled the car up. We hopped in, Mr. Collins opened the trunk of the car, and hopped in. He reached out and shut the trunk on top of him. Besides that, We drove through D. C. in silence. We were almost at the White House when Mr. Collins opened the little window that connected the trunk to the backseat and said,
“Wait!” Abraham slammed on the brakes. Abraham turned around and asked,
“What’s wrong? Are you alright? Did you figure out who the hacker was?” Mr. Collins answered back.
“I am fine. And, I did not figure out who the hacker was. But, I need to go to my house. I need to visit Agnes!” Abraham asked,
“Who’s Agnes?”
“Oh you’ll find out when we get there. Take a left, and head towards Georgetown!” Mr. Collins responded. Abraham did as he was told, and we drove past the huge houses in Georgetown. Abraham asked,
“Which house is yours?” Mr. Collins responded,
“Oh. You’ll know what house is mine when you see it. Take a left.” Abraham took a left, and we saw Mr. Collins house. Mr. Collins had a 1 acre property, and he wasted all his money on it. Mr. Collins had bought a humongous glass tank, that he built on the property. Inside the glass tank was a lot of water, and a blue whale. Right behind the tank was a big silo.
“Agnes! Come to papa!” Mr. Collins said running to the cage. Going up the entire cage was glass stairs. Mr. Collins ran up the stairs and jumped into the cage. There was no top. He jumped in, and Agnes swam up, and swallowed Mr. Collins. All three of us on the ground, looked at each other in shock, we didn’t know what to do. Agnes swam to the top of the tank, and blew gallons, and gallons of water out of her blowhole. In the gallons of water, was Mr. Collins. He flew really high in the air, and he was coming down fast. He got into formation for a dive, going head first in streamline. It must have been a gust of bad wind, because Mr. Collin’s streamlined body completely rotated backwards, and he fell hard on his belly. That was the ultimate belly flop. He climbed out of the tank, and got into somersault position at the top of the stairs. He then started rolling down the stairs. That did not look like fun. He landed at our feet. He immediately tore of his suit jacket and shirt, and showed us his bare belly. That was an image I would never get out of mind. His stomach was completely red. I mean fire truck red. I don't know, how he was even living. He put back on his shirt and suit jacket. He said,
“Wow, that dive was 10 stars. But, the reason I had to come here was because I had to feed Agnes.” He pointed towards the silo.
“Well, let’s get her done.” And we walked up, the slippery glass stairs, and on the side of the glass tank. Only the front half was open to the sky. The back half was covered in glass. On top of the glass was a giant whale inflatable. Like the one where you walk inside of. The President asked,
“Why do you have an inflatable?” Mr. Collins looked offended. He yelled back,
“THAT’S MY HOUSE!” We walked inside of Mr. Collins ‘house’, and it was weird. Mr. Collins had completely cut out the bottom of the inflatable, so you could see right into the water. Agnes swam under us. In the house was a really fancy reclining chair,a bed, a TV, and a toaster. But I don’t think that Mr. Collins ever slept in the bed, because on the bed was a walrus.
“Oh, that’s Fredrick.” Mr. Collins said. He walked to the back of the inflatable, and walked out the back of the inflatable. On the back of the glass tank was a garage door, in the glass tank. The silo was attached to the glass tank. We walked to the silo, which had more glass stairs up it. Oh yeah, did I mention that these glass stairs have no railing! We were 200 feet in the air, and walking on slippery glass stairs. We reached the top of the silo. From the top of the silo, it was beautiful. We could see the entire city of Washington D. C.. We could see the White House, the Washington Monument, and the Lincoln Memorial. It was a beautiful view. Mr. Collins opened the door to the silo. Inside the silo was tons of dead krill. A 200 ft. silo was completely filled with dead krill. I was kind of shocked.
“How much did this cost? I mean the silo, the krill, the glass tank, the whale. I don’t even know where you bought a whale. And a walrus! How are you not arrested!” I exclaimed. Mr. Collins said,
“I have saved money for this, my entire life. When I was a boy, I had a dream. My dream was that I could own a whale, and look what I’ve done. This is my dream come true.” That was a weird dream. Mr. Collins jumped into the huge pile of dead krill and waded his way over to a dumbwaiter. He filled the dumbwaiter with krill, and then sent that up to the top of the silo. Mr. Collins shouted to us, that he wanted us to fill the wheelbarrow up with krill. We did as we were told. We did this until we filled 5 wheelbarrows. I’m not sure I’m glad to say that I’ve done that, but I have. Transporting dead krill into wheelbarrows. Definitely on my bucket list, NOT! Mr. Collins climbed up the ladder on the side of the silo, and joined us at the top. He pulled something out of his pocket, a garage opener. He pressed the button, and the garage in the glass tank opened up. Mr. Collins grabbed a wheelbarrow and dumped all of the krill down into the glass tank. He did that with every wheelbarrow. Agnus ate all the krill. We walked down the slippery glass stairs, and into the inflatable whale. Mr. Collins sat down on his chair, and instantly fell asleep. The President looked very confused on what had just happened. But, he gave Mr. Collins a shake. Mr. Collins jumped up from out of his chair, and screamed.
“Fredrick! We’re under attack! Code red!” Frederick looked up, and then fell back asleep. Mr. Collins looked at the President and said,
“Who are you?” The President said,
“Your boss.” Mr. Collins remembered and asked,
“Oh yeah, you. So what brings you to the old den?” The President just glared at Mr. Collins. Mr. Collins said,
“Oh yeah. Hacking.” After that we walked down the slippery stairs and hopped into the car. Abraham drove us to the White House, where we got out. That was the first time I had ever been in the White House, and I thought it was AWESOME!It was huge! I got assigned my room, I was bunking with Abraham. The President tried to get Mr. Collins to sleep in the guest room. But Mr. Collins refused, sat down in the middle of the hall, curled into a ball, and fell asleep. The President looked like he might wake him up then said,
“You know we’ll just talk in the morning.” And with that we all went to bed. I woke up at 5 that morning. I woke up at 5 in the morning at D. C., since I’m from Idaho, that’s like waking up at 3. I laid back down and tried to get some more sleep, and I was looking out the window. Suddenly, a face appeared in the window. This person had a mask on. I got up and grabbed my gun. The person outside the window made a sprint for it. I ran, opened the window and jumped out. The person made a beeline for the fence. There should have been more security, but since money was tight, it was just me and Abraham. I starting chasing the man in the mask, but he was fast. I pulled out my radio and radioed Abraham. I was running so it was hard for me to talk and to run,
“Abraham!”
“What?”
I’m on the move.”
“Why?”
“Some guy was right outside the White House, I’m chasing him down.”
“Oh, do you need backup.”
“Not yet, I need you to stay with the President.”
“OK, I will. Be careful.” The man in the hood was unusually tall like around 7 feet. He hopped over the fence, and ran to the Washington Monument. I hopped the fence, and headed over to the Washington Monument as well. This early in the morning, the Washington Monument was closed, but I could see where he had broken the door open. Because of money, they could not pay for security guards. I ran into the Washington Monument. It might have been the scariest thing I had ever done. It was pitch black, and I couldn’t see a thing. I was lucky enough to have my utility belt, which had a radio, flashlight, and a smoke grenade. I pulled out the flashlight, and walked over to the stairs. I started walking up the 897 steps. After a while, I reached the top. The man in the mask was up there. He was waiting for me with a machine gun. He said to me in a voice that sounded very familiar,
“Put your gun down.” I did as I was told. He said,
“Go stand in that corner, and wait for further instructions.” I went over and sat in the corner. He came over and tied my legs and my hands.
“Stand up!” He barked. I immediately stood up.
“Well. Tanner, you had enough courage to follow me up here.” He said.
“How do you-you know my name?” I asked very nervously. He chuckled.
“Oh, looks like the little Secret Service agents is scared. Don’t worry, I won’t hurt you. Well, when you die, you won’t even be able to feel the pain. So that’s good.” He started laughing. He went over to the doorway and locked the thick metal door.
“Tanner. I am disappointed that you don’t remember me.” He took off his mask. I gasped. It was the leader of the Russian rebels. I glared at him, as hard as I could glare.
“Who would have thought that the Washington Monument was the perfect hideout. You know how it started construction 4 years ago. Didn’t you think that it was taking a long time. It’s because it will never reopen. This has been our perfect hideout. We have hidden under the government’s nose for years. And they’ve never noticed. FOOLS!” He began laughing. At that moment there was someone pounding on the door.
“Let us in! We know you’re in there!” The Russian leader grabbed his gun, and shot the window of the Washington Monument. He ran over and grabbed me. He dragged me over to the window and tossed me out the window. I don’t know if you knew this, but the Washington Monument is 555 ft. tall, and I was free falling.  I was about to hit the bottom, when I was caught by something. Abraham ran over and shoved me in midair. I didn’t realize this at the moment, but Abraham saved my life. When he shoved me, he took all of the momentum of me falling, and so it was like I only fell from 5 feet. I asked Abraham what was going on.
“When you called me, I immediately started tracking you through your radio. Then I called General Hall, and took a squad up there. I was waiting on the outside, when I heard the window shatter, and then saw you fall.” Abraham said. At that moment, the doors of the Washington Monument opened and General Hall and another military officer had the Russian leader in handcuffs. General Hall left them and came over to me and Abraham. He said,
“We caught Viktor Bogden. He’s part of the Russian mafia. He got hired by someone here, to start a revolution. I don’t know, but I bet that his boss is the hacker.” A car came screeching around the corner and Toby jumped out.
“You two get in the car now.” He said glaring, looking at us. We did as we were told. The driver drove down to the White House and the President and Mr. Collins jumped into the car. Mr. Collins yelled when he got in the car.
“Hel-lo everybody!”
“Really Toby. What is the meaning of this? I get a call that says be outside in 5 minutes. Bring the nuclear codes. I need more information than that.” The President asked.
“Well, this morning I received a call from the prime minister of England. He wants to make an alliance with us. We’re meeting him tonight.” Toby said. We drove towards the airport in Maryland where the Air Force 1 was parked. That was the first time that I had ever seen the Air Force 1 and it was massive. It was amazing. We boarded and then took off. Abraham flew, and I co-piloted. I had some experience flying, based off my experience in NASA. We flew all day, and by 6:00 I could see Big Ben poking out above the clouds. We touched down, and taxied over to Big Ben. I had no idea why we taxied to Big Ben, not to one of their government buildings, but then Toby said.
“We’re heading towards Big Ben because England is currently on the fence about the war. There are a lot of rebels, and the government buildings would be an easy target. We’re heading towards Big Ben because this meeting is top secret. We parked at Big Ben, and headed inside the clock tower. On the way to the door Mr. Collins said,
“Holy Moly. This is the second biggest clock tower I have ever seen!” We all looked at him kind of funny. We walked to the elevator and headed to the top of the tower. At the top of the elevator the prime minister Charles Garland was waiting for us. We all shook hands. Then we all sat around a table. Charles Garland said,
“North Korea invaded Austria yesterday, and we are worried for our protection. We want to make an alliance with you, and we want to know if your air base in Turkey will protect us if North Korea attacks.”
“Of course. I will make sure that the employees working at the Turkey air base, will fight if anyone attacks you. I will notify General Hall right now.” The President said reaching for his phone.
“That won’t be necessary.” Toby Gutzman said. Everyone looked at him weird.
“What do you mean that won’t be necessary?” Charles asked.
“I mean, that all the information discussed in this meeting will never leave this tower.” Toby responded calmly.
“What are you talking about?” President Harris asked.
“I mean that none of this information is leaving this room.” Toby said frustrated.
“Toby Gutzman. You’re fired.” The President yelled. Toby laughed,
“I’m fired! Ha ha. You’re right I’m fired as the vice president. If I can’t be the vice president, then I must be the president.” Toby smiled. Right then all 12 of the Secret Service agents who were guarding Toby jumped up, and placed their guns on everyone in the room. There were two guns pointed at me. Two pointed at Abrham. Two at Charles Garland. Two were pointed at Charles’ bodyguard. The remaining 4 were pointed at the President. TOby ordered to me, Abraham, and Charles’ bodyguard.
“Put your weapons down.” Because we were outnumbered, all three of us did as we were told. Toby said,
“Oh you guys were fools. I mean I have been sabotaging the government for years. I am the Cyber Fox. I started the closed the Washington Monument so that the rebels could use it as a hideout. I have robbed billions of dollars, and given it to who. Well, North Korea of course. I went to North Korea, and gave them a billion dollars, as a deal that they would the war. Look how well that worked out. I mean the army was so distracted with the war, that they didn’t notice the number of Russians coming into the country. Yes, I called Mr. Viktor and told him that I wanted the help of the mafia. He couldn’t resist. So the mafia was starting a revolution, the army was losing a war overseas, and I was robbing right under your nose. And now, I’m President. Well, not yet. You’re not dead yet. So, since you’re still alive,” Toby pulled out his pistol aimed it at President Harris and fired. President Harris fell out his chair dead. A Secret Service agent grabbed a card out of the President’s shirt pocket.
“I’m President now.” Toby whispered.
“Throw Garland and his guard in the clock. Let’s give North Korea a present.” He looked at us. The Secret Service agents for Toby handcuffed me, Abraham, and Mr. Collins. Then they grabbed Charles Garland, and his guard. They threw the guard of Charles, and threw him over the railing into the huge gears of the clock. The scream of the guard was so sad, until it was ended by a crunch. They grabbed Charles,
“Siarna!” Toby yelled. They threw Charles over the railing. His scream was even worse than his guard’s, and his scream was ended by an even louder crunch. The Secret Service Agents then grabbed us, and walked us down the stairs. On the way down the stairs, Toby leaned over to me and said.
“Now don’t you wish that you came to my meeting?” Then it made sense, at that meeting, they planned this attack. I was glad I didn’t go to that meeting, I wouldn’t have betrayed the President. I had a bigger problem though, I was going to North Korea. On the way to the private airstrip, Toby told me his plan. Here’s what he said,
“Oh Abraham and Tanner. I am so glad that you could witness my plan, before you died. Here’s how it goes. The mafia have a Navy of 5 huge boats. I stole all five boats from the U. S. Navy! Ha! The first boat is called the Moscow. It is a stolen patrol boat. It’s purpose is to lead. That is where Viktor is, and the rest of the leadership council. That boat won’t usually get in fights, but it still has several machine guns, and a couple missiles. Don’t underestimate it. The next boat, is the boat why the Moscow doesn’t get in fights. The Sochi, is a battleship that I stole. It has several nuclear missiles, and plenty of other surprises. The next boat is one of my favorites, and it’s the Petersburg. It’s an aircraft carrier that I stole personally. It’s anyone’s worst nightmare. It can hold up to 2,000 soldiers. It’s basically a floating army. It can pull up to a beach, drop the gang plank, and that’s how we invade. The next boat is the Volgograd. It is a stolen weapons character, and besides the Moscow, it’s the most important ship. It is the bank ship. It has billions of dollars, which I gave them. It’s our bank, if you will. The final ship is the Saratov. It is a submarine, which is fully functional. It is where the scientists of the mafia is. The scientists on that ship, are world famous. This is where it gets fun. The Saratov has developed a virus. A virus that will take out any computer in America. It won’t just take out any computer, it will take out anything with power. Imagine millions of homes, airports, hospitals, anything will go out of power. That is the first wave of my plan. Once all the power goes out, and America is blind in a way, the Petersburg will pull up to California. All 2,000 soldiers will start invading California. With the power out, the police will be so scattered, that they won’t stand a chance. If, however this won’t happen, the 2,000 army fails, then the Sochi will bomb the coast. Then we will retreat to Russia. Now for the best part of the plan. I told you already that the Petersburg is an aircraft carrier, Viktor will fly a plane from the carrier, with my guards. They will parachute into the Capitol and kill all Senators, representatives of the house, and anyone on the Judicial court. As soon as the Capital is cleared out, I will appoint all of my Russian friends with government positions. So everything works out great. Oh, you know what I changed my mind, I actually want Mr. Collins to come with me.” Toby looked at Mr. Collins.
“You are lucky. You don’t have to go to North Korea. You will come with me. I am going to hold Mr. Collins hostage, and if you guys somehow get out of the prison camp, and come after me. I will kill Mr. Collins. Understood? Now bye-bye. Viktor, tell North Korea hi for me!” And with that Mr. Collins and Toby hopped out of the car. Viktor grabbed his gun and told me and Abraham to get out. Me and Abraham got out, and boarded the plane. The plane took off for North Korea. After a couple of hours in the air, we lowered in elevation until we hit the North Korean runway. We got out of the plane with our hands above our heads. North Korean guards, put me and Abraham in handcuffs. They threw us in their jail. Then they locked us in cells. This was beginning to a new life.
3 months later
After three months, me and Abraham were beginning to look like stick figures. We had lost about 60% of our body weight. I remember one day, when a North Korean guard opened my cell one day and said.
“Mr. Wilder. I have some news for you. Mr. Gutzman, sorry. I mean President GUtzman, has ended the third World War. North Korea now owns Europe and Asia. This is a new age. Unfortunately, the public is not welcoming President Gutzman in very well. He is going to plan B. If the public won’t welcome him, then he’ll invade them. The Cyber Plague is about to take place. But, before computers, radios, the Internet, and anything electric goes out, we want you to make a broadcast. We want you to broadcast to America, what has happened. We want you to motivate people, to welcome President Gutzman. Come on.” I stood up, and couldn’t believe what I was about to do. I walked into the broadcast station. They sat me in a chair, and handcuffed me to the bolted table. The brought a microphone, and put it in front of me. I began my broadcast. I talked about my life, getting recruited at the Idaho Center, going to the Mt. Borah base camp, then going after some Russian rebels. I talked about going to Washington D. C., I talked about the President, and what a good guy he was. I talked about Abraham, and talked about willing he was to serve his country. I talked about crazy Mr. Collins, and how he earned the respect of the President. I talked about how I was trapped in the Washington Monument. I talked about our trip to England, and how Toby, sabuatoed the government. I released the plan that the mafia was about to do. I talked about how me and Abraham were locked up in North Korea. I told everyone where I was now.
“And now, I would encourage the people of America, to prepare the attack, which is about to happen. I know that this attack can be stopped. Right now our country is divided. Everyone is in danger. If everyone works together, then America can stand against tyranny. I wish the public the best of luck. Good bye.” I said. The guard who pulled me out of the jail cell said to me.
“Tanner. I’m the only one here, who speaks English, so they don’t understand what we’re saying. My name is Oscar. I don’t want to be here, but I don’t have a choice. I like what you’re doing, and I respect you. I want you to know, that over 4 billion people tuned into the broadcast. The world is cheering for you.” I was amazed. I had never thought that I would ever be known. And now, the whole world knew who I was! I was amazed.
“I… I don’t even know what to say. That’s… that’s great!” I exclaimed. The other North Korean guards looked at me. Oscar yelled something in Korean to them. He turned to me and said in English.
“The army killed my family. I want to get revenge. Come with me, I’m taking you to the ‘Torture House’” I’m not sure that I liked him putting quotation marks around the words ‘Torture House’, but I followed him anyways. On the way to wherever we going, Oscar said to me.
“The Torture House is where I live. I hate my job, whenever a prisoner has to be executed, they send them to my house, and then I execute them by torture. I hate it. But, if I don’t do it, they’ll kill me.” Oscar said. We walked in silence. In North Korea, it’s really cold, but it didn’t bother Oscar at all. We finally approached his house.
“Here it is, the Torture House.” Oscar said. We walked in, and the house seemed like a completely normal house.
“This is the Torture House? It doesn’t seem like one.” I said.
“Well, this part my living quarters. This is all my house. The garage is the torture part. You’ll stay in here tonight.” Oscar said pointing to a room.
“I’m going to try to get you out of this country. I’ve been working with someone, that you know.” Oscar said smiling. We walked upstairs. The door to the upstairs was heavily bolted. It had electronic locks, fingerprint scanners, and a security camera on top.  I asked,
“Why’s this door so guarded?” Oscar responded,
“This door, isn’t supposed to be here. It’s part of the resistance.” He smiled. He went through all the locks, and scanners, and all that junk, and he opened the door. In the upstairs room was a big radio. There were maps, and computers, and all sorts of stuff. On a computer was a person that I recognized.
“Thomas!” I yelled. General Hall turned around and saw me. He ran over, and embraced me.
“It’s so good to see you!” General Hall said happily. I was happy to see him too.
“What are you doing here?” I asked. General Hall’s expression changed to serious. He said in a monotone voice.
“I knew something was wrong. I knew something was wrong as soon as Toby came home without President Harris. When the press asked Toby what happened to President Harris, he was very secretive. He said there was an accident and that President, Abraham and you died, but there was no pictures or anything. Nobody knew about this. I knew something was off. I started following Toby around, I started listening into his phone calls. I found out that he was working with the Russian mafia. I was about to arrest him, but then I got a phone call from him.” He said pointing to Oscar.
“He said that he knew where you were. I came to North Korea after that. That’s when we started the resistance.”
“What’s the resistance?” I asked.
“The resistance, is a group of people who are working together to knock Toby out of office. We are also trying to contain the mafia. So far it just consists of the small army left of America.” Oscar said.
“Oscar’s right. The U. S. military is tiny now. We went bankrupt. And I was put under arrest, if they could find me. We have 100 guys who are volunteering for us.” General Hall said with a frown.
“I heard your broadcast. If the mafia do show up on our beaches, we can have the entire military there, but that still won’t be enough. They’ll outnumber us 20 to 1. We’re hosed.” General Hall finished.
“Why do you guys only have 100 people? Doesn’t Toby want you guys to be safe?” I asked. General Hall responded.
“There used to be 1.4 million people in the U. S. Military. Over 99% of them left the military, and joined North Korea’s military. It was a gift from Toby. He said if you will go fight for North Korea, then you will get paid. He diminished the U. S. military. All that remains are 100 people who are hiding out at the Mt. Borah base camp. Look how we’ve flipped. Now we’re the rebels. And there’s 100 of us. Not even enough to challenge North Korea’s army. Oh Tanner. Things are terrible. Toby made a law that if you were a policeman or woman, than you became part of the Secret Service. We were originally going to attack, and try to kill Toby. But now there is 1.1 million Secret Service agents in Washington D. C., trying to get to Toby is impossible.  I don’t know what we do.” Oscar was silent then he spoke up and said,
“I have a plan.” Me and General Hall looked at him.
“You do?” I asked, anything seemed impossible.
“What is it?” General Hall asked.
“Listen closely.” Oscar said. We all listened, and he told us his plan. His plan was simple enough and had a chance of working. This is how the plan went. The first part of the plan was to get out of North Korea. Oscar said he had a plan, but he wouldn't tell us. The second part of the plan was to get to Washington D. C. We had to pretend that Oscar was a representative from North Korea, to discuss war plans. We had to get him into the Pentagon. While he was in the Pentagon, he would tell everyone what Toby did. Hopefully everyone would believe him, and he could get some Scorpions. If you don’t know what a Scorpion is, I’ll tell you. A Scorpion is a modern day tank. It’s about 3 stories tall, and contains some massive ammo. Hopefully, you never meet one. They would travel by Scorpion to the Capitol Building. They would hide behind the Capitol Building, and when Viktor came with the plane, the Scorpion would blow it out of the air. While this is happening General Hall, and the remaining military will be in California and protect the coast. Me and Abraham would break into the Washington Monument, in the middle of all the 1.1 million Secret Service guards, and somehow we would find Toby. Our job was to take out any guards, and then arrest Toby. We were to rescue Mr. Collins. While we were discussing our plans, Oscar made a phone call, and called the prison. 10 minutes later Abraham came to the door in chains. The guards left. Abraham looked scared, then surprised to see us. We told him what happened. We began informing Abraham on what was happening, when there was a knock on the door. We all stayed upstairs, and watched on a TV what was happening. Oscar went downstairs, and opened the door. Two guards were on the other side, with guns. One of them started saying somethings in Korean, and the pointed his gun at Oscar. We had been compromised. Oscar put his hands in the air. Abraham bolted out of the room, I chased after him. Abraham ran around the corner, and he surprised the guards. He left his feet and punched the guard with the gun, he fell to the ground. The one who was talking, pulled out a pistol, and aimed it. I ran in, and kicked in the leg. He buckled and I pushed him to the ground. Oscar, Abraham, and I ran inside, and locked the door. The two guards began pounding on the door. Oscar ran down the hall, into a little room. I followed him. In that room, a machine was fastened into the ground. He walked to the controls and said.
“Hold onto something.” He grabbed a lever, and pulled down, and the entire house shook. After a minute of the house shaking, the house started to literally elevate. I mean the house was flying. I looked out the window, and saw that the house was actually 10 ft. off the ground. Giant flames were coming out the base of the house. I yelled to Oscar.
“How did you do this!” Oscar was laughing like a maniac.
“Rocket engines! Ha, they never saw this coming!” The house kept going up and up. Pretty soon  we over 100 ft. in the air. Oscar grabbed the throttle, and the house rotated slightly and then lurched forward. I looked at a computer monitor and saw house fast we were flying. We were flying at 4,521 mph. I couldn’t believe how fast we were going. I yelled,
“Is that a world record?!” Oscar yelled back.
“Yes! The world record is 4, 520 mph. I beat it!” That was followed by more maniacal laughing.
“We’ll reach Washington D. C. in 90 minutes!” Oscar yelled.
90 minutes later
“There she is!” I yelled. The Washington Monument was poking above the clouds. Oscar grabbed the controls, and the house leveled out. It slowly descended. Until we landed on the Thomas Jefferson Memorial. Oscar said,
“It’s 8:00 at night. Exactly when the mafia attack California. Let’s hope they last.”
“My men, are already there.” General Hall said.
“Well, that’s great.” Oscar said. He then said.
“Change of plans, let’s all go after Toby, he’s in the Washington Monument. Let’s take the house.” We all scrambled into the house. Police sirens wailed, and police cars started driving to the Thomas Jefferson Memorial. The house rumbled and then took off. We flew directly over the Washington Monument. Oscar unleashed a rope ladder, and everyone but Oscar, scampered down the ladder. We opened a hatch at the top of the monument, and came down a chute. We kicked opened a vent and jumped down. There were at least 15 Secret Service agents with their guns pointed at us. Toby had a gun pointed at Mr. Collin’s head. Toby said,
“I don’t know why I even bother searching for you. I sent out the CIA and the FBI to find you, but you came to me. I’ll be honest, I don’t how you did it. How’d you get on top of the monument?” They didn’t know about the house. That meant they didn’t know about Oscar. Toby ordered.
“Everyone, put your hands above your heads. And march!” We all walked down the stairs of the monument, we all got in a limo. We drove in silence. No one knew where we going. We passed the ‘Welcome to Georgetown!’ and drove to the property with a blue whale. I was confused. We marched up to the top of the silo, and sat down.
“I want you to witness the murder of all the senators, members of the house, judicial court members.” I saw the plane far off in the distance. I knew that everyone in the Capitol building was in danger. About 5 minutes later, the plane was above the National Mall. Finally the plane was above the National Monument. All of the sudden the plane burst into flames, and fell to the ground. Toby yelled.
“No!” He commanded his agents,
“Kill them!” He yelled reaching for his phone. All of the sudden Mr. Collins started yodeling in some language. That angered the guards. One of the guards pulled out his gun and aimed it at Mr. Collins. If I were that guard, I would have stood so closely to the edge of the silo. Frederick the walrus climbed up the stairs, and lunged. Headbutting the guard. The guard fell to his death, throwing his machine gun in the air. Frederick grabbed the gun in his mouth, and somehow unleashed fire. He miraculously shot all of the guards, and not me, Abraham, General Hall, Mr. Collins and Toby. One of the bullets hit the rope that tied Mr. Collin’s hands together, the bands fell off his hands. Toby grabbed his gun and aimed it at the walrus. Mr. Collins sprinted and jumped on Toby’s back. Mr. Collins reached into his pocket and pushed the garage opener. He jumped off Toby’s back and shoved him forward. Toby fell forward, tried to gain his footing, stepped off the edge of the silo, and fell. While he was falling, Mr. Collins yelled.
“Hope you have a WHALE of a time!” Toby fell to the glass cage beneath him. Agnes the whale jumped out of the water and swallowed Toby in one bite, then fell back into the water. We were all speechless. My phone rang. Mr. Collins untied us, and I answered. It was Oscar. He said.
“Are you alright?”
“Yeah, I’m fine. How about you?” I asked.
“I’m fine. Where’s Toby?”
“Toby. Toby …” I didn’t know how to phrase this. Mr. Collins grabbed the phone out of my hands, then shouted into it.
“He was eaten by a WHALE!” I took the phone back.
“What happened to the plane?”
“Well, let’s just say I got lucky. I positioned the house right behind the Washington Monument. As the plane threw over, I threw a grenade. Somehow it got stuck in between 2 screws. That’s why the plane went KABOOM!”
“So we won?”
“Well, sort of. I just got a phone call from one of the military members in California, he said that they retreated. They must have retreated, when the plane blew up. Well, I have some bad news.”
“What?”
“Victor, the Russian leader, survived.” I was speechless.
“How?”
“I don’t know, but I watched him run away. I looked at the radar. He jumped into a submarine.” The Saratov, I thought.
“Well, at least they won’t be getting any more money.”
“Well, they don’t need any money. The mafia still has billions of dollars.”
“Okay, let’s worry about that another time. Bye.”
“Bye.” I looked over to Abraham, Mr. Collins, and General Hall.
“Victor survived.” There was an audible gasp.
“But, our next position is too put a new President in order. Do you know who that is?” I asked General Hall.
“Yeah, it’s whoever closest to the President.” He said.
“And who would that be?” Abraham pointed his head. I immediately shook my head no. General Hall nodded his head yes. I couldn’t believe this was happening. General Hall said.
“With the power invested in me. I make Daniel Collins, the next President of the United States.” Mr. Collins yelled.
“Yippee!” He then ran and jumped off the silo. Agnes opened her mouth, and Mr. Collins fell in. A couple seconds later, Mr. Collins came flying out Agnes’s blowhole. I turned to Abraham,
“Are you sure?” He laughed. Well, I can’t believe what has happened in my life over the last week. I get accepted into the Secret Service, then go to the Mt. Borah base camp. Then I get to go contain rebels in Pocatello, then I’m off to Washington D. C., I chased Viktor up the Washington monument, then get rescued by Navy Seals. Then I’m off to England, where one of the best people I know gets shot right in front of me. Then the next thing I know I’m a prisoner of war, in North Korea. Then I’m flying across the Atlantic Ocean in a house. Then I’m in D. C. saving the world. General Hall picked up his phone and said some things into it. He immediately turned to us.
“Abraham, President Collins, and Tanner. We need to find the mafia, are you in? Abraham said,
“Yes.” President Collins said,
“Whoohoo! Road trip!”
“I’ll take that as a yes.” General Hall said.
Oscar and the house pulled up, and they all hopped on. President Collins stuck his head out the window like a dog.
“Tanner. I know you’ve been through a lot, but will you help us for one more mission. I stepped onto the flying house, and said.
“Okee dokey”
